In 30 days, people move from the 53rd to the 70th percentile of flourishing.
Most of this industry asks you to take its word for it. Heroic ran a randomized controlled trial with an independent research team and published what came back.
“Larger than I had ever witnessed in my own 35 years of research.”
Content isn't the problem. Day 60 is.
The industry ships a library and calls it a program. Two months later almost nobody opens it. Engagement is the number that decides whether any of the rest matters.
Still engaged at day 60. Heroic benchmark against the published industry baseline.
The limits, stated plainly.
A trial is evidence, not a guarantee, and a page claiming clinical validation should say where the evidence stops.
- Flourishing and energy moved measurably over 30 days of daily practice
- Measured on validated instruments, at both ends, by an independent research team
- Day-60 engagement holds far above the published industry baseline
- A direct line from the practice to revenue, promotion or business outcomes
- That the effect holds at five years — the trial ran for thirty days
- That it works for someone who doesn't run the practice. Engagement is the whole variable.
About the research.

Read the model01 Who ran the trial?
Dr. Sonja Lyubomirsky's team at UC Riverside. She's spent thirty-five years studying human flourishing and is one of the most cited researchers in the field.
02 What's a “flourishing percentile”?
A standardized measure of wellbeing across several dimensions, scored against a general population. Moving from the 53rd to the 70th percentile means participants went from roughly average to better than seven in ten people.
03 Does this prove Heroic will work for me?
No — and anyone claiming that from a single trial is overselling it. What it shows is that people who ran the practice for thirty days moved measurably. Whether you run it is the variable nobody can measure in advance.
04 How do you measure it for an organization?
The same way. We baseline flourishing at day zero and measure again at day ninety, using the same validated instruments. You get the delta. We won't claim a direct line to revenue, because nobody honestly can.
The only way to know is to run it.
Twenty minutes a day.
