In Today’s +1, we’re going to take a deeper look at what Thomas Jefferson meant when he wrote these indelible words: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Did you know that back in the day “the pursuit of Happiness” didn’t mean “to chase after” happiness or to “pursue it” in the sense we think about it today?
Back in the day the “pursuit” of something really meant the PRACTICE of it.
Happiness wasn’t something you chased after. It was something you PRACTICED every day—making a habit out of it.
By integrating tiny Optimizations and living just a little bit more in integrity with your highest self. Working on your happiness the same way a master craftsman worked on his craft.
