What are you grateful for?

“One of the best ways to cultivate gratitude is to establish a daily practice in which you remind yourself of the gifts, grace, benefits, and good things you enjoy.”
“The act of writing down your blessings translates your thoughts into words, and writing has been shown to have advantages over just thinking the thoughts. Writing helps to organize thoughts, facilitate integration, and helps you accept your own experiences and put them in context.”
“Seek gratitude density. Be specific. Go for depth over breadth. Give details for each entry. The journal is more than just a list of stuff.”
“Include some surprises. What unexpected blessings did you benefit from today? What were you dreading that did not happen?”
“Use the language of gifts. Think of the benefits you received today as gifts. Relish and savor the gifts you have been given.”
“Think about and then write down those aspects of your life that you are prone to take for granted. Instead, take them as granted.”

3. Community Highlights
Favorites from another week of moving from Theory to Practice to Mastery, Together!!!
- David building local community while supporting human health: After attending the Phoenix Workshop Instructor Training event, and completing a hike during the event, David got inspired to create a hiking club with some work friends. Now he’s strengthening community relationships while supporting the health of everyone who participates.
- Sue’s Areté license plate kick-starting conversations: Aside from being awesome (!!), Sue is using her new license plate as a way to start conversations with people who ask what “Areté” means.
- Tim cooking new Hero Bars with his mom during Elite: After ~7 weeks of hospital and rehab time, Tim’s Mom is smiling again, thanks to his commitment each day to be a “Radiantly Loving Son.” As he put it, “This whole endeavor has been at the center of my #ELITE goal for LOVE. The daily focus and Love targets have been absolutely integral to the efforts.”
