My dear Hero!
This is Brian. 👋
Today I have some exciting news. Let’s jump straight in.
As is often the case, there’s a short story and there’s a longer story. We’ll start with the short story.
We’ll actually start with a question…
Do you need a scholarship?
Have financial challenges prevented you from signing up for our Heroic Premium or Heroic Coach offerings?
If so, we want to help.
You can apply to receive a scholarship here: heroicpbc.typeform.com/scholarship
And…
Before we get to the longer story, another question…
Would you like to make a tax-deductible contribution to support Heroes in need with a scholarship?
If so, we (and the future scholarship recipients!) would be honored to have your support.
You can make a tax-deductible contribution through our fiscal sponsor, Realize Impact, here: heroic.us/scholarships
Now for the slightly longer story…
As you know if you’ve been following along, I have read thousands (and thousands and thousands!) of notes from our community.
I read every single one of the nearly 1,000 notes we received from our first class of coaches about why they signed up for our program and what they most wanted to get out of it.
Then I used that feedback to create our program with Michael and our team.
Note: The #1 thing people said they wanted from our Coach certification program was ACCOUNTABILITY.
This is precisely why we became the first Coach certification program to, from the best of my understanding, EVER require our Coaches to actually DO the things they know they could be doing.
(It’s also one of the main reasons why the research we did on the program showed that it worked so well.)
I’ve also read over two thousand notes from our community of investors from around the world.
In fact, I’ve read each note TWICE as I reconnected to our supporters and recommitted to my Sacred Vow to do everything in my power to fulfill our mission to change the world.
And…
As you may know, when we launched our Heroic Mastery program, we briefly mentioned the fact that we would be offering scholarships.
We quickly received hundreds of applications.
I printed out the dozens of pages of notes and…
They were so heartbreaking that I could only read a handful of them.
As I felt into the profound pain and financial hardship that many of you in our community are experiencing, I began to weep.
One woman nearly lost her young daughter to a suicide attempt and invested her life savings into trying to find treatment for her.
Then her younger daughter started experiencing her own challenges and our Heroically strong mom has had an incredibly challenging time making ends meet financially AND emotionally.
She believed Heroic could help her push through her extraordinary challenges.
“Could I have a scholarship?” she asked.
“YES!!!!!! My God, yes. Of course!!” my daimon and I replied.
Countless others in the United States were struggling with a disability and/or on a fixed income and simply didn’t have the means to afford our program.
Then there were individuals from over 25 countries who simply couldn’t afford our programs because of currency conversions or other challenges.
Aspiring Heroes from Mexico, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, Sweden, Argentina, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Brazil, Tunisia, Portugal, Poland, Pakistan, Australia, Ireland, Hungary, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Thailand, Bulgaria, Puerto Rico, France and South Africa who needed our help.
I still haven’t read all the notes. (I now have a stack of 85 pages I’m working through.)
But I read enough of them to immediately take action to figure out how we could serve every single person who wants to be a part of our community but simply can’t afford it.
I’ll skip the longer aside but I deliberately decided NOT to make Heroic a non-profit because I wanted to create an exemplary for-profit business that embodies the ideals of conscious capitalism and the public benefit movement showing that businesses can be a force for good and that striving to lead and serve with virtue is a strategic advantage.
And…
I’ve always known that I wanted to make Heroic Public Benefit Corporation BOTH the #1 investment opportunity for our community members AND the #1 tax-deductible charitable contribution they can make in any given year.
So…
I chatted with advisors and had our team look into how we could accept donations from our members who have the financial means to support those who do not.
And…
I am thrilled to let you know that we are blessed to be in a fiscal sponsorship agreement with an organization called Realize Impact.
Our relationship with Realize Impact will allow our community (and charitable foundations and corporations and anyone who would like to change the world with us!) to make tax-deductible contributions that can be directed to Heroic scholarship grants we can give to those in need.
If you would like to support our efforts to support those in need and ensure that money NEVER gets in the way of serving those who most need Heroic, we would be honored to have your support.
You can make a tax-deductible contribution to Heroic via Realize Impact using the payment form, or by following the instructions, here: heroic.us/scholarships
The team at Realize Impact will then use your tax-deductible contribution to provide scholarships for Heroic Premium and Heroic Coach—empowering us to put your donation to work to change lives.
Special thanks to our director of operations’ future mother-in-law, Sari, for her generous and wise counsel and introduction to the team at Realize Impact. 🙏
There’s so much more I can say but this is already very long so I will leave it at that for now.
I love you. I appreciate you. I am honored to be doing such important work with you.
I am sending love to you and your family.
Again…
If you need a scholarship, let us know. We’re here to help: heroicpbc.typeform.com/scholarship
If you have the means to support our movement with a tax-deductible contribution, you can do so here: heroic.us/scholarships
With Wisdom, Self-Mastery, Courage, Gratitude, Hope, Curiosity, Zest and LOVE (!!!), I say…
HEROES UNITE!!
Day 1. All in.
Let’s go.

P.P.S. One of our thoughtful Heroic members couldn’t make it to the event in December. So, he generously offered a scholarship for someone in our community.
We gave it to Lotus…
