Ryan Babineaux, PhD, is a career counselor, writer, and researcher in the area of purposeful living. He is a lecturer at Stanford University, and co-author of the book Fail Fast, Fail Often: How Losing Can Help You Win.

Ryan studied with many leaders in the field of human development, including Howard Gardener, the creator of the theory of multiple intelligences, William Damon, the leading thinker in moral development and career commitment, and John Krumboltz, the creator of the happenstance learning theory. His doctoral thesis at Stanford explored how people embody their spirituality within their careers and daily lives.
